The need for Hospice Quinte palliative care is increasing. Our goal is to continue providing this unique service and to enhance our existing programs in order to meet the growing needs of the terminally ill and bereaved in this region. We believe this will be made through the generosity and support of our community.
If you are interested in making a donation, please contact us, or print this page, fill out the form and mail it to us.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Cash, or Cheques.
You may also donate online through CANADA HELPS, which accepts PayPal.
Our mandate is to provide care and support to the terminally ill, their families, and the bereaved at no cost. Although we do not charge for our services, we do incur operating costs, and rely heavily upon the generosity of our community and the energy and expertise of our volunteer fundraisers, who support our cause. At Hospice Quinte, we receive and appreciate donations from families who have benefited from our services, donations in memoriam, foundations, the local business community, as well as individual donors.
Hospice Quinte receives 30% of our operating budget from the Ministry of Health, to assist with the costs of our programs. The remainder is secured through ongoing donations and fundraising endeavors. We are involved in educating the community of the increasing need for our programs.
Hospice Quinte provides a charitable receipt for all donations over $20.00. Tax-deductible donations can be made to Hospice Quinte in memorium or as a general donation.
