Bereaved Families of Ontario – Mothers Group, meets at Hospice Quinte every second Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Meetings began Jan. 25th, 2012 and are continuing every second Wednesday.

"Speak Up":
Start the conversation about end of life care

  • Dump the Plump, Family Edition, began Monday, January 16, 2012 and runs to Monday, June 18, 2012. We are now encouraging families to take the challenge together. For further information, please contact us at 613-966-6610.
  • A Day at Hospice began on September 14th for patients with a life threatening illness – support, lunch and afternoon activity Contact Cathy Ouellette 966-6610 ext: 225
  • Caregiver Support Group for those caring for someone with a life threatening illness began on Thursday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m. contact Cathy Ouellette for more information 966-6610 ext: 225
  • Hospice Quinte is introducing a walking programme for the bereaved entitled: Moving Forward…A chance to walk through your grief. Contact Cathy Ouellette to register. 966-6610 ext: 225
  • Monthly volunteer tea, 2nd Thursday of each month, 10:30 a.m. at the Hospice Center
  • Bereavement Services: A reminder that the “Caring & Sharing” support group meets the third Thursday of each month at 2:00pm at the Hospice Center
  • Rev. Ed Bentley's Drop-In Bereavement Support Group, 1st Tuesday of each month

  • Hospice Quinte has been awarded
    Level 1 and Level 2 Accreditations from the Hospice Association of Ontario,
    as of March 2010.
